瑞典摄影师 Erik Johansson 著名於其高超的後製技術，創作出各種超現實的精彩影像，例如我們之前介紹過的作品。而今次這一輯，則是攝影師把照片扭成有趣、好玩而且奇妙的錯覺/矛盾空间，冲击你的视觉，相信会让你想起M.C.Escher的经典作品

这张「常识隧道」的概念，亦套用在摄影师一辑为TAC TAC（Transport Accident Commission）宣传禁止药后驾驶的广告作品中：

受药物影响的驾驶者，视觉就如以上作品般混乱，概念很贴题吧？

Gulliver Table / Torafu Architects / 巨大的桌子

出现在东京某公园草坪上的一个超级大桌子。

The Midtown DESIGN TOUCH Park kicked-off in a wide open grass field in Tokyo Midtown where
design can be enjoyed with the five senses. Here, we proposed an open stage on which children
and adults alike take part in workshops while having fun.

A very long table has suddenly appeared on the lawn. We installed a tabletop running 50 meters
in a straight line, as if drawing a horizontal line on the gently sloping grassy field.

The table naturally grows taller as we move along the inclined plane. The structure serves as a
symbol for the children’s workshop—it is a floor, a table, a bench, a playground or even a shelter.

Various persons come all together around a single 50 meter-long table, discovering various
places along the way; places to sit down, to stand up, to lie down or pass under.

Like a big family gathered around a picnic table, this is a stage full of smiles where all citizens,
young and old, converge to create something new.

这个桌子长50米，在缓坡草坪上绘制出一条水平直线。

这简直就是一个露天的舞台，儿童，成人都参与其中。随着桌面高度的变化，人们可以把桌子当地
板用，或就当桌子用，或当成板凳，或当成庇护所。大家围绕在这里，或坐，或站，或躺下，或者
是穿越。

桌子就像一个神奇的宝贝，让大家汇聚成一个大家庭，让所有的人们，无论年轻还是老迈，都喜笑
眉开。这是一个创新之桌。

桌子在场地上存在9天后便被拆除，其材料正在被重新制作成椅子和桌子，用于日本311地震受灾区。

Designed for Tokyo Midtown DESIGNTOUCH, which ran for 9 days during which various workshops
for children were held at the table, it was dismantled after the event. All the parts were shipped to
Ishinomaki city in Miyagi Prefecture, which was affected by this year’s 3/11 earthquake and tsunami,
where all the material are being recycled and reused where needed. This is coordinated by
‘Ishinomaki Koubo’, a organisation which brings together professionals, resources and provides
tools for rebuilding efforts. The materials that make up Gulliver Table is now being made into tables
and benches needed in the local area.

梦境之后

Steadfast Bunch

For about the last ten years, I’ve been experiencing a sporadically recurring dream about the end
of the world. Animals stampeding and buildings falling into dust around me, I wake up in a panic
and with a heavy sense of inevitability. Although I’m not trying to recreate this dream in my work, I
think that like my dream, my paintings reflect my view of the nervous state of affairs the world
seems to be in.

Inspired by natural and unnatural disasters, personal fiascoes and the never ending stream of
bad news coming in from the media, a relentless mob of curious plant-like creatures and other
disasters have swarmed over the painted landscapes, threatening the creatures and life within.
Like us, the creatures in my work stumble through the best they can; given their circumstances.
Acting out of vulnerability they try to create security but sometimes, like us, end up kicking their
own asses. I am fascinated by the resilience of life. Every disaster is followed by rebirth, where
we hike up our boots, duct tape our lives back together and try to cobble together a “plan b” out
of what remains.

My paintings document my love of both the urban landscape, and small twisted creatures.

过去的10年中，艺术家Amy Casey总是做着关于世界尽头的梦：建筑坍塌，动物狂奔，而Amy
Casey在惊醒之后仍感沉重。她的作品并不是要重现梦境，而是在咫尺画布之间反映她对世界的紧
张看法。

灵感来自自然的，非自然的灾害，以及从媒体上传来的无休止境的坏消息，艺术家将这种来源于生
活的威胁感表达了出来。生活就是这样跌跌撞撞，充满纰漏，但生活具有宽广的适应力，每一次灾
难之后就是新生，我们要迈开步伐，重新上路，并完成那未完的“B计划”。
